Regional Museum
The Teplice Museum is located in the Teplice Castle, whose history began in the second half of the 12th century, when the Czech Queen Judith founded a Benedictine monastery “by the warm waters” in honor of St. John the Baptist.
Botanic Garden
The only botanical garden in the Ústí nad Labem Region was established by the statutory town of Teplice on January 1, 2002. However, it was not established “on a greenfield” – its area has been used for horticultural purposes for approximately one hundred years.
Café Restaurant Beethoven
The design of Café Restaurant Beethoven comes from the workshop of a top architect Barbora Škorpilová. It is inspired by the spaces in which Ludwig van Beethoven lived and worked in 1811. The walls cover Beethoven’s original scores from works sketched by the famous composer in Teplice. The lights are grouped in clouds of music and the distinctive floral decoration is based on the historical concept of the summer meadow.
The stylish premises of the Café Restaurant Beethoven directly invite you to a pleasant coffee or a romantic evening for two. We also organize corporate events, celebrations and wedding receptions. We will be happy to design a tailor-made menu for such occasions.
THERMALIUM
THERMALIUM is a complex of the largest and warmest swimming pools with pure thermal water in the Czech Republic. The pools are filled with the Pravřídlo thermal spring. It is a natural healing resource that has been extracting minerals and rare elements from the volcanic massif below the city for 18,000 years.
The composition of the spring prevents from osteoporosis, helps delay changes in the joints and strengthens physical condition.
THERMALIUM is located on the first floor of the Beethoven Spa House and features the main thermal pool with massage and rehabilitation elements, a thermal swimming pool, a Kneipp path and a sauna world.
